Parnassos with its rich fir forests and imposing landscape has a particularly wide network of rural roads and paths. Due to its continuous habitation since ancient times, the mountain has been extensively mapped and is suitable for all kinds of excursions. In the Mountain Bike program in Mount Parnassos Altitude forest area, we get on our bikes and enjoy this unique environment!
Starting at Arachova Livadi Altitude Plateau in Parnassos, we explore easy paths and dirt forest roads in the heart of the National Park. During our cycling route we also have the opportunity to see the entrance of the unknown "Eptastomos" cave. The impressive chasm is located near Kalania at an altitude of 1,300m. The cave with seven mouths host's the southernmost glacier in Europe and its temperature does not exceed 0° C.
