Set off on an exciting half-day wine adventure on Queenstown's Original Wine Tour, established in 1992! Departing daily from Queenstown, you will dive into the very heart of Central Otago’s celebrated wine region. This small-group, year-round tour offers an intimate experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the stunning scenery and exceptional flavors of Central Otago wines, all while meeting new friends and having a lot of fun!
Over the course of approximately five and a half hours, you'll visit 3 premium vineyards and cellar doors, each offering unique experiences and breathtaking views of the region. Enjoy guided wine tastings of world-class Pinot Noir and other varietals, while your knowledgeable guide shares fascinating insights into the wine-making process and history of each winery.
Take a leisurely tour through the Gibbston sub-region and learn about its transformation from a small vineyard area to a globally recognized Pinot Noir producer, all while gaining a deeper understanding of the region’s history and key wine-makers.
The tour also includes the opportunity to indulge in a delicious à la carte lunch (at your own expense), where you can enjoy a light snack or a more substantial meal while soaking in the stunning vistas of Central Otago’s landscapes.
