Step inside Edinburgh's 56 North Distillery to sample and discover how award-winning gins are made in the heart of Edinburgh.
Begin by entering Scotland's oldest dedicated gin bar with over 300 spirits on the shelf.
You will be welcomed with a South Loch Gin and Fever-Tree tonic and introduced to the beautiful copper stills that produce all of the South Loch Gin you will try.
Savor your gin and tonic whilst learning all about botanicals, production, bottling, and gin production techniques. We then head to the tasting room to sample three unique gins made at the South Loch Gin distillery with guided tasting and insights into the research and development behind them from your host.
Finish off by enjoying a South Loch Gin cocktail made by a dedicated bar team back in our bar where you are welcome to stay to try more gin or food.
South Loch Distillery has won 14 Scottish Gin Award medals since 2021. It is the most awarded distillery in Scotland at the Scottish Gin Awards since 2021 and has been nominated by our peers as Scottish Gin Distillery of the Year 2025!
