If the weather is favorable, the cruise may extend beyond the harbor mouth, giving you breathtaking coastal views. Your route will take you through either the Maydon Wharf Channel, which is alive with shipping activity, or toward the City and Container Terminal, where you can experience cargo operations up close.
This experience is educational and fun, especially for children. They will love discovering how ships enter the harbor, offload their cargo, and prepare for their next voyage—all while enjoying a safe and exciting boat ride.
The cruise departs from Wilson’s Wharf in Durban Harbor. Please check in at our ticket office 20 minutes before departure. The tour lasts between 30 minutes, depending on conditions, and returns to the same point.
All of our boats are fully certified, regularly maintained, and equipped for your safety and comfort. Children under 12 must wear life jackets, which we provide. We may use any of our boats for your scheduled time slot without prior notice.

- This activity is safe for all ages, although it is not recommended toddlers, as it is sometimes unsettling for them to go out onto the ocean.
- No food is provided aboard but you can take some snacks along. There is a restaurant where you can purchase food and a big selection of restaurants to choose from at the end of the excursion.
- Passengers who fail to present themselves for a cruise without advising the Isle of Capri cruises in advance, no later than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time will be a no-show and the cruise ticket will be forfeited without the right to a refund.
